The piano was not love at first sight, it took time, a lot of time, for me to begin to ponder, the generosity and universality of this musical instrument. I feel so grateful for the lessons I’ve learnt through her.
“In the best of all possible worlds, art would be unnecessary. Its offer of restorative, placative therapy would go begging a patient. The professional specialisation involved in its making would be presumption. The generalities of its applicability would be an affront. The audience would be the artist and their life would be art.” – Glenn Gould
